The Tailor

Kung.

Sunsilk Tailor has been a fixture of Center City Philadelphia for over a decade. What started as a small alterations shop has grown into a full custom clothier, with a following built almost entirely on word of mouth — and 79 five-star reviews.

Philosophy

Measured twice. Cut once. Finished by hand.

Every garment at Sunsilk is made the same way it would have been fifty years ago. Patterns are drafted by hand. Canvases are floated, not fused. Buttonholes are cut and sewn on a Reece machine older than most of our clients.

Kung's philosophy is simple: the person is the pattern. Nothing leaves the shop until the garment fits the person standing in it — not the other way around.

That's why people keep coming back. For weddings. For interviews. For the jackets they used to love but stopped wearing because they stopped fitting right. It all gets fixed.
